My Heavenly Fathers Letter – Part 2

. I knit you together in your mother's womb:

                        Psalms 139:13  

For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb.

. And brought you forth on the day you were born:

Psalms 71:6  

From birth I have relied on you; you brought me forth from my mother's womb. I will ever praise you.

. I have been misrepresented by those who don't know me:

John 8:41-44 

41 You are doing the things your own father does.” “We are not illegitimate children,” they protested. “The only Father we have is God himself.”

42 Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love me, for I came from God and now am here. I have not come on my own; but he sent me.

43 Why is my language not clear to you? Because you are unable to hear what I say.

44 You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father's desire. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.

. I am not distant and angry, but am the complete expression of love:

1 John 4:16  

And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him.

. And it is my desire to lavish my love on you:

1 John 3:1 

How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.

. Simply because you are my child and I am your father:

. I offer you more than your earthly father ever could:

Matthew 7:11

. Every good gift that you receive comes from my hand:

James 1:17  

Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.

. For I am your provider and I meet all your needs:

Matthew 6:31-33  

31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’

32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.

33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

. My plan for your future has always been filled with hope:

Jeremiah 29:11

 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
