God's mercy, grace, kindness, and willingness to forgive - God has
provided redemption and salvation for His people, especially sending Jesus as
our Savior:
Psalms 86:5
You are forgiving and good, O Lord, abounding in love to all
who call to you.
Colossians 1:12-14
12 giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to
share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light.
13 For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and
brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves,
14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
2 Samuel 7:23
And who is like your people Israel—the one nation on earth
that God went out to redeem as a people for himself, and to make a name for
himself, and to perform great and awesome wonders by driving out nations and
their gods from before your people, whom you redeemed from Egypt?
Luke 2:37-38
37 and then was a widow until she was eighty-four. She never
left the temple but worshiped night and day, fasting and praying.
38 Coming up to them at that very moment, she gave thanks to
God and spoke about the child to all who were looking forward to the redemption
of Jerusalem.
1 Kings 8:23
And said: “O LORD, God of Israel, there is no God like you in
heaven above or on earth below—you who keep your covenant of love with your
servants who continue wholeheartedly in your way.
Ezra 9:8-9
8 “But now, for a brief moment, the LORD our God has been
gracious in leaving us a remnant and giving us a firm place in his sanctuary,
and so our God gives light to our eyes and a little relief in our bondage.
9 Though we are slaves, our God has not deserted us in our
bondage. He has shown us kindness in the sight of the kings of Persia: He has
granted us new life to rebuild the house of our God and repair its ruins, and
he has given us a wall of protection in Judah and Jerusalem.
Psalms 17:7
Show the wonder of your great love, you who save by your
right hand those who take refuge in you from their foes.
