So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
In God’s eyes the greatest heroes of faith are not those who achieve prosperity, success, and power in this life, but those who treat this life as a temporary assignment and serve faithfully, expecting their promised reward in eternity.
Your time on earth is not the complete story of your life. You must wait until heaven for the rest of the chapters. It takes faith to live on earth as a foreigner.

One Step in Developing Humility
If we believe we are too spiritually mature to fail, we should beware! The Bible portrays the sins of past spiritual leaders as a warning to us to remain humble and open to correction. We each need to reassess our personal walk with God in honesty before Him. Each of us will be held responsible for our actions and attitudes.
Worship
God is waiting anxiously to lead each of us in the dance of praise.” God is on a mission – a quest. He is looking for worshipers. As he constantly draws each of us into a deeper and more intimate friendship with himself, he is creating within us hearts that will praise him. - Claire Cloninger
Linger often in worship. In the midst of your daily storms, make it a point to be still and set your sights on him. Let God be God. Let him bathe you in his glory so that both your breath and your troubles are sucked from your soul. Be still. Be quiet. Be open and willing.
