1 Corinthians 2:12-16
The Lord has given us the mind of Christ. Now we have the capacity to think as He does and to see situations from His perspective.
Compare your thoughts, attitudes, and beliefs with biblical teachings. If they don’t match, reject wrong patterns of thinking, and fill your mind with corresponding truths from Scripture instead. Since the Lord has empowered believers to think right, let’s cultivate the mind of Christ within us.
Forgiveness
Since the sinner has broken the law of God, only God can forgive him that sin.
If you steal my hammer I can forgive you for that, but if you break one of the laws of the Philippines I cannot forgive you for that.
When you break the law of God no man can forgive; only God can forgive you.
Luke 7:49
And they that sat at meat with him began to say within themselves, Who is this that forgiveth sins also.
Mark 2:7
Why doth this man thus speak blasphemies? who can forgive sins but God only?
1 John 1:9
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Acts 5:31
Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.
Glimpses of Heaven
I imagine our first glimpse of Heaven will cause us to gasp in amazement and delight. That first gasp will likely be followed by many more as we continually encounter new sights in that endlessly wonderful place. -Randy Alcorn
