Once again, let’s come back to King Jehoshaphat – now, it’s time for war and next day morning he has to go to battle ground for war. Thus he gives first and final instructions to his army and people. We will find this portion from Verses 20 & 21. “Early in the morning they left for the Desert of Tekoa. As they set out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, “Listen to me, Judah and people of Jerusalem! Have faith in the Lord your God and you will be upheld; have faith in his prophets and you will be successful. ” After consulting the people, Jehoshaphat appointed men to sing to the Lord and to praise him for the splendour of his holiness as they went out at the head of the army, saying:
“Give thanks to the Lord,
for his love endures forever.”
This two verses are very clear but one may wonder what the choir is doing in the battle field. One will be surprised to know the role they played in the battle field.

This two verses are very clear to know that exactly what happened in the battle field. But one will wonder that what the choir people are doing in the battle field. They played an ultimate role in the battle field.
King Jehoshaphat finally gave his orders and also his army about his war strategy. He got all his army with fully loaded, along with them he called all the choir members to come.
The arrangement was thus: he told all the choir members in the front portion. Bigger and higher ammunition will be totally back. The time came for the war. Finally war began.
All the three armies i.e. Moabites, Ammonites and Meunites were came to attack. King Jehoshaphat ordered Choir members to start and march on from the front. As they started playing instruments and singing gloriously – the enemies thought that big bombs and ammunitions are pouring on them. God confused them totally. They thought they are finished and started fighting among themselves and killing each other to the last person in three armies.
