Salvation

Christ – Brings with Him:

Isaiah 62:11 

Behold, the LORD hath proclaimed unto the end of the world, Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.

Christ – Mighty to make possible:

Isaiah 63:1 

Who is this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? This that is glorious in his apparel, travelling in the greatness of his strength? I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save.

Christ – to make possible:

Matthew 18:11 

For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost.

1 Timothy 1:15 

This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.

Christ – Died to make possible:

John 3:14 

14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:

15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

Galatians 1:4 

Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father.

Thought:

It is not darkness you are going to, for God is Light. It is not lonely, for Christ is with you. It is not unknown country, for Christ is there.
