Eternal Things…Part 1

God

Deuteronomy 33:27

The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms. He will drive out your enemy before you, saying, ‘Destroy him!’

Romans 1:20

For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.

God’s name

Exodus 3:15

God also said to Moses, “Say to the Israelites, ‘The LORD, the God of your fathers—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob—has sent me to you.’ This is my name forever, the name by which I am to be remembered from generation to generation.

Psalms 72:17

May his name endure forever; may it continue as long as the sun. All nations will be blessed through him, and they will call him blessed.

God’s throne

Psalms 93:2

Your throne was established long ago; you are from all eternity.

God’s kingdom on earth

Exodus 15:18

The LORD will reign for ever and ever.”

Psalms 145:13

Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures through all generations. The LORD is faithful to all his promises and loving toward all he has made.

Psalms 146:10

The LORD reigns forever, your God, O Zion, for all generations. Praise the LORD.

Jeremiah 10:10

But the LORD is the true God; he is the living God, the eternal King. When he is angry, the earth trembles; the nations cannot endure his wrath.

Daniel 2:44-45

44 “In the time of those kings, the God of heaven will not set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed, nor will it be left to another people. It will crush all those kingdoms and bring them to an end, but it will itself endure forever.

45 This is the meaning of the vision of the rock cut out of a mountain, but not by human hands—a rock that broke the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver and the gold to pieces. “The great God has shown the king what will take place in the future. The dream is true and the interpretation is trustworthy.”

Daniel 4:3-4

3 How great are his signs, how mighty his wonders! His kingdom is an eternal kingdom; his dominion endures from generation to generation.

4 I, Nebuchadnezzar, was at home in my palace, contented and prosperous.

2 Peter 1:11

And you will receive a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
