Righteousness…Part 2


Luke 1:17  

And he will go on before the Lord, in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the fathers to their children and the disobedient to the wisdom of the righteous—to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.”

Luke 1:75  

In holiness and righteousness before him all our days.

Luke 7:29  

 (All the people, even the tax collectors, when they heard Jesus’ words, acknowledged that God's way was right, because they had been baptized by John.

Luke 18:9  

To some who were confident of their own righteousness and looked down on everybody else, Jesus told this parable:

John 7:24  

Stop judging by mere appearances, and make a right judgment.”

John 16:8  

When he comes, he will convict the world of guilt in regard to sin and righteousness and judgment:

John 16:10

 In regard to righteousness, because I am going to the Father, where you can see me no longer;

John 17:25  

“Righteous Father, though the world does not know you, I know you, and they know that you have sent me.

Acts 10:35  

But accepts men from every nation who fear him and do what is right.

Acts 13:10  

“You are a child of the devil and an enemy of everything that is right! You are full of all kinds of deceit and trickery. Will you never stop perverting the right ways of the Lord?

Acts 17:31

For he has set a day when he will judge the world with justice by the man he has appointed. He has given proof of this to all men by raising him from the dead.”

Acts 24:25  

As Paul discoursed on righteousness, self-control and the judgment to come, Felix was afraid and said, “That's enough for now! You may leave. When I find it convenient, I will send for you.”
