Questions in Genesis

Q - Why is thy countenance fallen?

Genesis 4:6  

Then the LORD said to Cain, “Why are you angry? Why is your face downcast?

Q - If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted?

Genesis 4:7 

If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must master it.”

Questions in Exodus

Q - Why have ye done this thing, and have saved the men children alive?

Exodus 1:18 

Then the king of Egypt summoned the midwives and asked them, “Why have you done this? Why have you let the boys live?”

 Q - Shall I go and call to thee a nurse of the Hebrew women, that she may nurse the child?

Exodus 2:7  

Then his sister asked Pharaoh's daughter, “Shall I go and get one of the Hebrew women to nurse the baby for you?”

Questions in Numbers

Q - Wherefore are we kept back, that we may not offer an offering of the Lord in His appointed season among the children of Israel?

Numbers 11:11  

He asked the LORD, “Why have you brought this trouble on your servant? What have I done to displease you that you put the burden of all these people on me?

Q - Who shall give us flesh to eat?

Numbers 11:4  

The rabble with them began to crave other food, and again the Israelites started wailing and said, “If only we had meat to eat!
