Maids who played important parts in the lives of Bible Characters

Maid who saved Moses

Exodus 2:5-8

5 Then Pharaoh's daughter went down to the Nile to bathe, and her attendants were walking along the river bank. She saw the basket among the reeds and sent her slave girl to get it.

6 She opened it and saw the baby. He was crying, and she felt sorry for him. “This is one of the Hebrew babies,” she said.

7 Then his sister asked Pharaoh's daughter, “Shall I go and get one of the Hebrew women to nurse the baby for you?”

8 “Yes, go,” she answered. And the girl went and got the baby's mother.

Naaman’s Maid

2 Kings 5:2-4

2 Now bands from Aram had gone out and had taken captive a young girl from Israel, and she served Naaman's wife.

3 She said to her mistress, “If only my master would see the prophet who is in Samaria! He would cure him of his leprosy.”

4 Naaman went to his master and told him what the girl from Israel had said.

Jairus daughter

Matthew 9:24-25

24 he said, “Go away. The girl is not dead but asleep.” But they laughed at him.

25 After the crowd had been put outside, he went in and took the girl by the hand, and she got up.

No Condemnation

“There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus . . . who walk according to the Spirit.”  Romans 8:1 NKJV

Does the Word of God say There is limited condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus? No. Does it say There is some condemnation . . .?  No. It says There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. Think of it—regardless of our sin, we are not guilty! - Max Lucado
