Sober and pray

self-controlled so that you can pray.
Sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, charity and patience-aged men

Teach the older men to be temperate, worthy of respect,
self-controlled, and sound in faith, in love and in endurance.

In behavior as becoming to saints - aged women

they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is
good.
Discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient – young
women

To be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be
kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word
of God.
Ready to give an answer of the hope that is in you

But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be
prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the
hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect,
Of good cheer

peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the
world.”
