Psalms 34:10
“The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the
LORD lack no good thing.”
They whose power lies in the strength
of their limbs shall ever be dismayed. They whose trust lies in the might of their
youth will always hunger for greater. Yet the satisfaction the godly is met now
and forever. Bask in His goodness, O believer! Return time and again to the
bounty of His loving-kindness!
1 Corinthians 7:23
“You were bought at a price; do not become slaves of men.”
We belong to Christ! We are His most
precious possession! He loved us so much that He paid the ultimate price to buy
us back from the hand of death. When we recognize this love it should make us
desire to serve Him more.
