Good Advice.

Do not take to heart all the words that you hear; that is, do not be anxious to hear everything spoken, lest you hear something that will hurt you:

Ecclesiastes 7:21 

Also take no heed unto all words that are spoken; lest thou hear thy servant curse thee.

Keep the kings commandment, as the oath of God:

Ecclesiastes 8:2 

I counsel thee to keep the king's commandment, and that in regard of the oath of God.

Do not stand for any evil thing:

Ecclesiastes 8:3 

Be not hasty to go out of his sight: stand not in an evil thing; for he doeth whatsoever pleaseth him.

Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might:

Ecclesiastes 9:10 

Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.

Fear God and keep His commandments, for this is the whole duty of man:

Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 

13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it is good, or whether it is evil.
