Don’t Miss the Point

 “Lord, you bless those who do what is right.”  Psalm 5:12

The trip from Egypt to the Promised Land can be made in nine days (Deuteronomy 1:2). It took the Israelites thirty-eight years.

What they should have done, they didn’t . . . So God decided they needed some time to rethink a few things.

Maybe God is wanting to teach you a few things. Pay attention. You don’t want to spend thirty-eight years missing the point.

Araunah

2 Samuel 24:22-23

22 Araunah said to David, “Let my lord the king take whatever pleases him and offer it up. Here are oxen for the burnt offering, and here are threshing sledges and ox yokes for the wood.

23 O king, Araunah gives all this to the king.” Araunah also said to him, “May the LORD your God accept you.”

Testimony

a.         Do others see Jesus in you?

b.         A Christian reflects Jesus Christ.

c.         A Christian’s life is the canvas on which others can see Jesus

d.         Witnessing is not just something a Christian says, but what he is.

e.         Only God sees the heart.

f.          They witness best who witness with their lives.

g.         The best role models model Christ.

h.         Live in such a way that others see Jesus in you.
