He was so near and yet so far

(Jesus and the rich young ruler—Mark 10)

Many today are so close to Jesus, but in their hearts so far from Him. They are members of the Church, have been baptized in His name, know all about Him and His teachings but still have not made personal contact with Him. They have never taken the final step of surrendering their lives to Christ and entering into a personal relationship with Him. They are on the doorstep of the Kingdom—but have never entered in.

The greatest tragedy in life is to come face to face with Jesus and then turn your back on Him.

Real servants are faithful to their ministry….

In heaven God is going to openly reward some of his most obscure and unknown servants—people we have never heard of on earth, who taught emotionally disturbed children, cleaned up after incontinent elderly, nursed AIDS patients, and served in thousands of other unnoticed ways.

Funny Isn’t It?

•          Funny how long a couple of hours seen spent at church but how short they are when watching a movie.

•          Funny how Laborious it is to read a chapter in the Bible and how easy it is to read 200-300 pages of a bestselling novel.

•          Funny how people scramble to get a front seat at any game, but scramble to get a back seat at church service.

Evangelism

You are not safe, until you accept Jesus, Accept Jesus Now.
