Evangelism

Evangelism: Sharing the gospel right where you are…

God’s gift of forgiveness is like a gift certificate that’s more valuable than anything we can imagine. He paid for it with his Son’s life. God is holding that priceless gift certificate out to us, waiting for us to take it.

However, if we don’t accept it and use it, then it’s of no value to us. The next time you buy a gift certificate for someone, think about how you could use it to illustrate the greatest gift of all.                                                                                                     …Mike Silva

"We are too busy to pray, and so we are too busy to have power. We have a great deal of activity, but we accomplish little; many services but few conversions; much machinery but few results."
- R. A. Torrey

"You shall find this to be God’s usual course: not to give his children the taste of his delights till they begin to sweat in seeking after them." - Richard Baxter

When Jesus walked the earth, he was constantly meeting strangers. He always had time for them, even when He was weary. Jesus always had time for two things that really matter—the two things that last forever: God’s Word and people.                                                                                                …Phil Callaway

"Some men will spin out a long prayer telling God who and what he is, or they pray out a whole system of divinity. Some people preach, others exhort the people, till everybody wishes they would stop, and God wishes so, too, most undoubtedly." - Charles G. Finney

"Some people think God does not like to be troubled with our constant coming and asking. The way to trouble God is not to come at all." - D. L. Moody

"Revival is the beauty of holiness adorning the saints." – James A. Stewart

"I believe there is one thing for which God is very angry with our land, and for which His Holy Spirit is so little among us, and that is the neglect of united prayer; the appointed means of bringing down the Holy Spirit." – Brownlow North

As Christians we are called to belong, not just to believe.
