Joel 2:19
The LORD will reply to them: “I am sending you grain, new
wine and oil, enough to satisfy you fully; never again will I make you an
object of scorn to the nations.
In the end. After all the tumult of history is passed. After
the suffering of the church is complete. It is then that God promises to exalt
His people to the consummation of their full glory!
Truly we await that day with all the yearning of our being,
crying out with our whole hearts: "How long, O Lord? How long?" The
answer, beloved, should keep us well: "Not long, dear children. Not
long." Amen and amen.
1 Corinthians 2:9
However, as it is written: “No eye has seen, no ear has
heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him”—
We thank You, our God that You have been pleased to divinely
reveal to us the great truths of the gospel!
"These are such as eye hath not seen nor ear heard.
Observe, the great truths of the gospel are things lying out of the sphere of
human discovery: But, lying out of the sphere of nature, we cannot discover
them but by the light of revelation. And therefore we must take them as they
lie in the scriptures."
