Faultfinding

Matthew 7:3-5  

3 “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?

4 How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye?

5 You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye.

Faults

Matthew 18:15

 “If your brother sins against you go and show him his fault, just between the two of you. If he listens to you, you have won your brother over.

Fear of God

Matthew 10:28  

Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell.

Feast

Luke 14:8  

“When someone invites you to a wedding feast, do not take the place of honor, for a person more distinguished than you may have been invited.

Feet washing

John 13:12-15  

12 When he had finished washing their feet, he put on his clothes and returned to his place. “Do you understand what I have done for you?” he asked them.

13 “You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and rightly so, for that is what I am.

14 Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another's feet.

15 I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you.
