Witnessing

Matthew 13:34

Jesus spoke all these things to the crowd in parables; he did not say anything to them without using a parable.

Think it over

A good way to learn God’s truth is to teach it to others.

John 15:26

“When the Counselor comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father, he will testify about me.

Think it over

The Spirit convicts so that Christ might cleanse.

Mark 4:28-29

28 All by itself the soil produces grain—first the stalk, then the head, then the full kernel in the head.

29 As soon as the grain is ripe, he puts the sickle to it, because the harvest has come.”

Think it over

We sow the seed—God produces the harvest.

1 Thessalonians 1:8

The Lord's message rang out from you not only in Macedonia and Achaia—your faith in God has become known everywhere. Therefore we do not need to say anything about it,

Think it over

If you want others to know what Christ will do for them, tell them what He has done for you.

Acts 1:8

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

Think it over

God has left us in the world to witness to the world.

As D.L. Moody walked down a Chicago street one day, he saw a man leaning against a lamppost. The evangelist gently put his hand on the man's shoulder and asked him if he was a Christian. The fellow raised his fists and angrily exclaimed, "Mind your own business!"

"I'm sorry if I've offended you," said Moody, "but to be very frank, that IS my business!" Even if people reject the gospel, we still must love them.
