1 Corinthians 1:27
But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the
wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong.
It is simply breathtaking to contemplate the remarkable grace
of God! Amazingly, He chose men of all trades, men of low stature, men from all
walks of life—He chose you! He desired those dead in their sins to be
resurrected and re-created to declare His infinite glory! What a privilege!
What an incredible honor to preach the good news to a dark world! May we
rejoice greatly and give praise to His glorious name!
John 15:18-20
18 “If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me
first.
19 If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its
own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the
world. That is why the world hates you.
20 Remember the words I spoke to you: ‘No servant is greater
than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they
obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also.
