Knowing God’s Will

In 10 Steps

5. Which option will bring the most Glory to God?

1 Corinthians 10:31-32

31 So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.

32 Do not cause anyone to stumble, whether Jews, Greeks or the church of God—

(Do ALL to the glory of God! Give none offence to either Jew or Gentile or to the Church.)
1 Peter 4:11

If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God. If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.

(That God in ALL things might be glorified!)

Revelation 14:11

And the smoke of their torment rises for ever and ever. There is no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and his image, or for anyone who receives the mark of his name.”

Revelation 14:7

He said in a loud voice, “Fear God and give him glory, because the hour of his judgment has come. Worship him who made the heavens, the earth, the sea and the springs of water.”
(Part of the last warning messages to the world contains these instructions "give glory to Him".  This indicates that most of the world will not be giving glory to God at the end of time. The decisions you make in your daily life indicate whose side you are on. )

Romans 14:13

Therefore let us stop passing judgment on one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumbling block or obstacle in your brother's way.

(Don't cause anyone to stumble.)

Mark 9:42

“And if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to be thrown into the sea with a large millstone tied around his neck.

(Don't hurt ever, the least of God's children.)
