2 Chronicles 8:14
In keeping with the ordinance of his father David, he
appointed the divisions of the priests for their duties, and the Levites to
lead the praise and to assist the priests according to each day's requirement.
He also appointed the gatekeepers by divisions for the various gates, because
this was what David the man of God had ordered.
2 Chronicles 20:19
Then some Levites from the Kohathites and Korahites stood up
and praised the LORD, the God of Israel, with very loud voice.
2 Chronicles 20:21-22
21 After consulting the people, Jehoshaphat appointed men to
sing to the LORD and to praise him for the splendor of his holiness as they

love endures forever.”

2 Chronicles 23:13
She looked, and there was the king, standing by his pillar at
the entrance. The officers and the trumpeters were beside the king, and all the
people of the land were rejoicing and blowing trumpets, and singers with
musical instruments were leading the praises. Then Athaliah tore her robes and
shouted, “Treason! Treason!”
2 Chronicles 29:30
King Hezekiah and his officials ordered the Levites to praise
the LORD with the words of David and of Asaph the seer. So they sang praises
with gladness and bowed their heads and worshiped.
2 Chronicles 31:2
Hezekiah assigned the priests and Levites to divisions—each
of them according to their duties as priests or Levites—to offer burnt
offerings and fellowship offerings, to minister, to give thanks and to sing
praises at the gates of the LORD's dwelling.
Ezra 3:10
When the builders laid the foundation of the temple of the
LORD, the priests in their vestments and with trumpets, and the Levites (the
sons of Asaph) with cymbals, took their places to praise the LORD, as
prescribed by David king of Israel.
