Praises


2 Samuel 22:50  

Therefore I will praise you, O LORD, among the nations; I will sing praises to your name.

1 Chronicles 16:9  

Sing to him, sing praise to him; tell of all his wonderful acts.

1 Chronicles 23:5

Four thousand are to be gatekeepers and four thousand are to praise the LORD with the musical instruments I have provided for that purpose.”

2 Chronicles 7:6  

The priests took their positions, as did the Levites with the LORD's musical instruments, which King David had made for praising the LORD and which were used when he gave thanks, saying, “His love endures forever.” Opposite the Levites, the priests blew their trumpets, and all the Israelites were standing.

The officers and the trumpeters were beside the king, and all the people of the land were rejoicing and blowing trumpets, and singers with musical instruments were leading the praises. Then Athaliah tore her robes and shouted, “Treason! Treason!”

2 Chronicles 29:30  

King Hezekiah and his officials ordered the Levites to praise the LORD with the words of David and of Asaph the seer. So they sang praises with gladness and bowed their heads and worshiped.

Hezekiah assigned the priests and Levites to divisions—each of them according to their duties as priests or Levites—to offer burnt offerings and fellowship offerings, to minister, to give thanks and to sing praises at the gates of the LORD's dwelling.

Psalms 6:5  

No one remembers you when he is dead. Who praises you from the grave?

Sing praises to the LORD, enthroned in Zion; proclaim among the nations what he has done.

That I may declare your praises in the gates of the Daughter of Zion and there rejoice in your salvation.
