Trouble in the Garden

Genesis 3:8

Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the LORD God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid from the LORD God among the trees of the garden.

There is always trouble:

1 When man casts off moral restraints

2 when man tries to deceive God

3 When man forgets who owns the garden

Enoch walked with God

Genesis 5:24

Enoch walked with God; then he was no more, because God took him away.

When we walk by faith we develop:

1 A continuing fellowship with the people of God

2 Complete trust in God

3 An appreciation for righteousness

Are you one of His disciples?

Matthew 26:71

Then he went out to the gateway, where another girl saw him and said to the people there, “This fellow was with Jesus of Nazareth.”

1 A disciple is submissive to the will of God

2 A disciple obeys the commands of God

3 A disciple responds to the love of God

4 A disciple seeks fellowship with the people of God
