Faith to Faith – Strength to Strength

Romans 1:16-17

16 I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile.

17 For in the gospel righteousness from God is revealed, a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.”

We Walk By Faith – Not By Sight

2 Corinthians 5:7

We live by faith, not by sight.

Habakkuk 2:4

“See, he is puffed up; his desires are not upright— but the righteous will live by his faith—

Hebrews 10:38

But my righteous one will live by faith. And if he shrinks back, I will not be pleased with him.”

Hebrews 11:6

And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

Do Not Doubt or Waver in Your Faith

James 1:5-8

5 If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.

6 But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.

7 That man should not think he will receive anything from the Lord;

8 he is a double-minded man, unstable in all he does.

James 2:1

My brothers, as believers in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ, don't show favoritism.

Hebrews 10:23

Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.

Matthew 21:21

Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and it will be done.

22 If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.”
