Death (means a “separation”)

The Death of Christ

He is the Prince of life:

Acts 3:15  

You killed the author of life, but God raised him from the dead. We are witnesses of this.

He is the Lord of the living and the dead:

Romans 14:9  

For this very reason, Christ died and returned to life so that he might be the Lord of both the dead and the living.

He is Resurrection and the life:

John 11:25  

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies;

As a result, Christians

Are freed from the fear of death:

Hebrews 2:15  

And free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death.

Are freed from the law of sin and death:

Romans 8:2  

Because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death.

Have come out of death and entered into life:

John 5:24  

“I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life.

Have been given life:

Ephesians 2:1  

As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins,

Colossians 2:13 

When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your sinful nature, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins,
