What if you could have one more day?

Most of us think we do.

A day is a long time and God gives most of us more than one.

For example let's say you are seventy and God says I'm going to give you one more year. That doesn't seem very long. Let's say you are seventy-one and on your last day but God says, "I'm going to give you one more day that you didn't think you were going to receive. Suddenly, you have an extra day. What will you do with this precious wonderful gift?

If all your days are done and then you get an extra day of life. What would you do?

In some way every day is that extra gift that God gives to us. This morning God handed each of us another day. We weren't promised today but God gave us this day. Will we have tomorrow? We hope so. We enjoy life and all of life that we have and know our lives come from God.

If God gives you tomorrow what will you do with another day?

Psalm 25:5 Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long.
