How to Develop Dynamic Discipleship

With Jesus, righteousness no longer consists in observance of an external legal code.

Jesus defines it as an apprenticeship to Himself as Master Teacher through the Holy Spirit.

Righteousness is now defined by the Person of Jesus and not by the law. However, this

Person who is righteousness requires our loyalty; true discipleship requires total,

commitment without distraction or compromise.

Faith Quotes

= “When unbelief kept Christ from healing the sick on earth, it will surely do so today.” - Dr. T. J. McCrossan

= “Faith is the spark that ignites the impossible and causes it to become possible. When a person’s faith is activated, it sets in motion supernatural power that enables that person to do what he normally would never be able to do!” - Rick Renner

= “Speak the promises in the Word of God out of your mouth. Confess them until you believe them and believe them until you get them.” - Rex Rouis -

Verse for the Day:

If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him? —1 John 3:17

Spirit Fire:

And Peter said, "How could the two of you even think of conspiring to test the Spirit of the Lord like this? The young men who buried your husband are just outside the door, and they will carry you out, too." —Acts 5:9

Psalm 32:7

You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance.

Thoughts on Today's Verse....

Out of the attacks of evil come the victories of God and the victory chants of God's people. Let's find our strength and protection in our holy God! Let's make God our hiding place, our source of security, and our hope in times of trouble.

Quote

“Who is there that ever receives a gift and tries to make bargains about it? Let us, then, return thanks for what He has bestowed on us. Who can tell whether, if we had had a larger share of ability or stronger health, we should not have possessed them to our destruction?” —Alphonsus Liguori
