Trinity in Redemption

God the Father predestined.

Ephesians 1:5

he predestined us for adoption to son ship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure  and will—

God the Son shed his blood.

Ephesians 1:7

In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace

God the Holy Spirit guaranteed.

Ephesians 1:13-14

And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession—to the praise of his glory.

Trinity in Sanctification

God the Father prunes

John 15:2

He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit,  while every branch that does bear fruit  he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful

God the Son cleanses

John 15:3

You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you.

God the Spirit works

2 Thessalonians 2:13

But we ought always to thank God for you,  brothers and sisters loved by the Lord, because God chose you as first fruits  to be saved  through the sanctifying work of the Spirit  and through belief in the truth.

Quotes about Christianity
“A silly idea is current that good people do not know what temptation means. This is an obvious lie. Only those who try to resist temptation know how strong it is... A man who gives in to temptation after five minutes simply does not know what it would have been like an hour later. That is why bad people, in one sense, know very little about badness. They have lived a sheltered life by always giving in.” ― C.S. Lewis, Mere Christianity
..  “In truth, there was only one Christian and he died on the cross.” ― Friedrich Nietzsche
..  “I have come home at last! This is my real country! I belong here. This is the land I have been looking for all my life, though I never knew it till now...Come further up, come further in!” - C.S. Lewis
