What you should say?

Luke 12:8; Luke 12:11-12

Jesus gives us two incredible promises. First, he assures us that if we publicly confess our allegiance to Him, then he will claim us as his own before the Father and the angels in heaven (Matthew 10:32).
Then, he goes a step beyond the first promise: He tells us that we aren't to worry even about what to say in difficult situations because the Holy Spirit will give us the words to say! No wonder the Holy Spirit is described as God's seal of ownership and our guarantee of salvation (Ephesians 1:13-14).

Guidelines for growing in Godliness

Daniel 1:8-16

Godly living requires that we exhibit faith during times of adversity and want, as well as during times of prosperity and peace.

Compromising our faith when threatened with persecution forfeits that most powerful opportunities for God to manifest His glory!

Ezekiel 7:23

"Prepare chains, because the land is full of bloodshed and the city is full of violence." –
God hates it when the innocent are afflicted with violence and bloodshed. He hates evil and political corruption. He hates courts that are false and leaders who are abusive of their power. We need to rest assured that he will provide deliverance for his faithful followers and administer justice to those who have abused or harmed other people — if not in this life, for sure in the life to come.

Prayer

. Loving Father in heaven, thank you for giving me the victory over sin and death in Jesus. I know that just as you raised him from the dead, you will also raise me up at the great day of Jesus' return. Please use that resurrection power in me to help me live more victoriously today. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
