Holy Things in Scripture – 7

. Habitation –

Psalm 68:5

A father to the fatherless,  a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling.

. Promise –

Psalm 105:42

For he remembered his holy promise given to his servant Abraham.

. Work –

Psalm 145:17

The Lord is righteous  in all his ways and faithful in all he does.

. Jerusalem –

Isaiah 4:3

Those who are left in Zion,  who remain  in Jerusalem, will be called holy,  all who are recorded  among the living in Jerusalem.

. Seed –

Isaiah 6:13

And though a tenth remains  in the land, it will again be laid waste.  But as the terebinth and oak  leave stumps  when they are cut down,  so the holy  seed will be the stump in the land.”

. Flock –

Ezekiel 36:38

as numerous as the flocks for offerings  at Jerusalem during her appointed festivals. So will the ruined cities be filled with flocks of people. Then they will know that I am the Lord. ”

. Chambers –

Ezekiel 42:13

Then he said to me, “The north  and south rooms  facing the temple courtyard  are the priests’ rooms, where the priests who approach the Lord will eat the most holy offerings. There they will put the most holy offerings—the grain offerings,  the sin offerings  and the guilt offerings —for the place is holy.
