Wilful Sins

Psalm 19:13

Keep back Your servant also from presumptuous sins;
 Let them not have dominion over me.
 Then I shall be blameless,
 And I shall be innocent of great transgression.

Sinful from Birth

Psalm 51:5

Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity,
 And in sin my mother conceived me.

Adam’s disobedience to God’s Word

Genesis 3:17

 Then to Adam He said, “Because you have heeded the voice of your wife, and have eaten from the tree of which I commanded you, saying, ‘You shall not eat of it’:

Our own evil desire

James 1:14-15

But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death.

Luke 2:14

"Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests." —

There is only one proper response for God's gift of Jesus — our praise and adoration. God's love, grace, favor, blessing, forgiveness, mercy, and salvation come to us through the incredible gift of Jesus. How can we not praise him? How can our hearts remain still and voices remain silent before such an incredible God?

They can't, or won't, at least right now! Let's see their refusal as our reminder that we need to reach as many as possible before every knee bows and every tongue confesses that Jesus is Lord to the glory of the Father!
