Deuteronomy 7:6

For you are a people holy  to the Lord your God.  The Lord your God has chosen  you out of all the peoples on the face of the earth to be his people, his treasured possession.

1 Peter 2:9

But you are a chosen people,  a royal priesthood,  a holy nation,  God’s special possession,  that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

.. A Redeemed People

Exodus 15:13

In your unfailing love you will lead  the people you have redeemed. In your strength you will guide them  to your holy dwelling.

Ephesians 1:7

In him we have redemption  through his blood,  the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches  of God’s grace

Closer Walk With Thee

He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. — Psalm 91:1
How good it is to be as close to God as his shadow and to share in the comfort of his sheltering presence. He is not far if our hearts choose to draw near him. Let's choose to draw near!
