Qualification of God’s Servant

1. Being free from sin

Romans 6:22
But now having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life.

2. Not trying to please men

Galatians 1:10
For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ.

3. Receiving God’s Spirit

Acts 2:18
And on My menservants and on My maidservants
 I will pour out My Spirit in those days;
 And they shall prophesy.

4. Following wholeheartedly

Numbers 14:24
But My servant Caleb, because he has a different spirit in him and has followed Me fully, I will bring into the land where he went, and his descendants shall inherit it.

5. Suffering in the soul

Isaiah 53:11
He shall see the labour of His soul, and be satisfied.
 By His knowledge My righteous Servant shall justify many,
 For He shall bear their iniquities.

6. Wrestling in Prayer

Colossians 4:12
Epaphras, who is one of you, a bondservant of Christ, greets you, always laboring fervently for you in prayers, that you may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God

7. Walking without blame

Psalm 101:6
My eyes shall be on the faithful of the land,
 That they may dwell with me;
 He who walks in a perfect way,
 He shall serve me.
