The New Birth and Justification - 3

9. Salvation.

{This  is an all-inclusive word that may include primarily the new birth or may include all saving acts of God in our life until our glorification in heaven.}

Acts 4:12

Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”

Acts 16:30-31

And he brought them out and said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”
   So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.”

Romans 1:16

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.

2 Cor. 6:2

For He says:
   “In an acceptable time I have heard you,
 And in the day of salvation I have helped you.” Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.

Ephesians 2:8

by honor and dishonor, by evil report and good report; as deceivers, and yet true;

Hebrews 2:3

how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those who heard Him,

10. Forgiveness of sins:

Matthew 9:6
But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins”—then He said to the paralytic, “Arise, take up your bed, and go to your house.”

Acts 10:43

To Him all the prophets witness that, through His name, whoever believes in Him will receive remission of sins.”

Acts 26:18
Then Agrippa said to Paul, “You almost persuade me to become a Christian.”

Ephesians 1:7

In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace

Ephesians 4:32

And be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.
