. God proclaims peace

Zechariah 9:10
I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim
 And the horse from Jerusalem;
 The battle bow shall be cut off.
 He shall speak peace to the nations;
 His dominion shall be ‘from sea to sea,
 And from the River to the ends of the earth.’

. There is peace for the wicked

Isaiah 48:22
“There is no peace,” says the Lord, “for the wicked.”

. It is related to God’s favour

Luke 2:14
“Glory to God in the highest,
 And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!”

. Unity  is through  the peace

Ephesians 4:3
endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
