Sharpening Our Priorities - God’s Prosperity.

Life consists of far more than just obtaining and possessing things. Rather, God wants us to enjoy a full, complete, and balanced life; and He has made provisions through His Word for us to be fulfilled in the way.

He has promised to supply our every need [Phil. 4:19], and He has promised to fulfil the desires of our hearts [Ps. 37:4]. But He also wants us to keep our proprieties clear: “Seek first the kingdom of God.” In that way—with all His promises  and priorities in balanced application to your life—all these thigs shall be added to you.” – [Matt. 6:33]

The valley of Blessing

If calamity comes upon us, whether the sword of judgment, or plague or famine,  we will stand in your presence before this temple that bears your Name and will cry out to you in our distress, and you will hear us and save us.’

Thoughts

. Now and then it’s good to pause in our pursuit of happiness and just be happy.
- Guillaume Apollinaire

. A cross Christian, an anxious Christian, a discouraged, gloomy Christian, a doubting Christian, a complaining Christian, an exacting Christian, a selfish Christian, a cruel, hard-hearted Christian, a self-indulgent Christian, a Christian with a sharp tongue or bitter spirt—all these may be very earnest in their work, and may have honorable places in the church; but they are not Christlike Christians. - Hannah Whitall Smith
