God’s gift to us – Savior!

In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams. — Acts 2:17

As those living in the last days, each believer — young and old, male and female — must be Spirit-led and Spirit-empowered to give his or her personal testimony to the grace of God given us in Jesus Christ. As Jesus prayed for us before his death (John 17:20-23), we must be united across the gender barriers and across the age barriers and across the racial barriers if the world is to truly know that God sent his Son as Savior of the world!

Divine Love in many Aspects

. Love manifested – in the Gift of Christ
1 John 4:9
This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son  into the world that we might live through him.
. Love Commended – at the Cross
Romans 5:8
But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Hair

Matthew 5:36
And do not swear by your head, for you cannot make even one hair white or black.

Matthew 10:30
And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered.

Thoughts

. Convert your thoughts into prayer.  As we are involved in unceasing thinking, so we are called to unceasing prayer.  The difference is not that prayer is thinking about other things, but that prayer is thinking in dialogue.  It is a move from self-centred monologue to a conversation with God. - Henri Nouwen

In All These Things

Romans 8:37
No, in all these things we are more than conquerors  through him who loved us.
