Be encouraged - 2

Point I want to make here that I and you, rather everyone is facing the problems in our lives every day. Is there any one has come and told you beforehand about your problems? What you are going to face in short time or you are going to face some serious problems with you, family or even in work place. We have not heard such kind of witnesses from anyone.

This happened to King Jehoshaphat, because he was not only a King but he was a man of God. Though he was a King but he was very close to God. He was a true worshiper, follower and a righteous person.

Now, as the message had come about the war and he could not avoid it but to face it soon.
Here the question is, normally what would be the reaction of any king or kings. For that matter in today’s context if any country comes to know that they are going to be attacked, what they will do??
They will call, immediately emergency meeting, worst comes to worst declare the emergency in the country. First this they will call Defence Minister and take the stock of military positions and strength. They will become very panicky and stressful. They will try to strengthen their army at any cost. Things will go disturbed in the country.

Even when some calamities comes in our families: like sickness to any member in the family – what they will do, they will be going to Doctor, then to a specialist, then to a second and third opinion. Some people will go for different colours of threads to tie in the hands. They will be going all over the world for cure or healing but for GOD. I am writing about majority of people, don’t forget that includes so called Christians and even Believers! I am sorry, but that is what is happening in majority of the times.

Coming to King Jehoshaphat, he may be King but he was a human being. He too could have gone through the stress and arranging his armies in such a position to attack the enemies.

Bible tells us, nothing that sort of kind things happened to King Jehoshaphat . Many of you might have got surprised. Yes, it’s naturally to do so.

The answer is King Jehoshaphat was calm as ever because he was a man of God. He knew where to go for help. Being a King he could have just given Orders to his army and seen through the war. But he did not do.

You may be wondering then what were his plans? He did not had any plans. But he knew only One Way.
