How God is using His servant today

The LORD was with Samuel as he grew up, and he let none of his words fall to the ground. — 1 Samuel 3:19

Samuel began his ministry at such a young age and was so important in bridging the generations between the period of the Judges and the period of the Kings. During that whole time, God was with him and empowered his ministry, making his words true and effective. Let's pray that God does the same with his spokespeople today. May God use his servants effectively all their lives and not let any of their words fall to the ground.

Anna Bears Witness to the Redeemer

Luke 2:36-38
Now there was one, Anna, a prophetess, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Asher. She was of a great age, and had lived with a husband seven years from her virginity; and this woman was a widow of about eighty-four years, who did not depart from the temple, but served God with fastings and prayers night and day.

And coming in that instant she gave thanks to the Lord, and spoke of Him to all those who looked for redemption in Jerusalem.

My Surprise!

“No one has ever seen this, and no one has ever heard about it. No one has ever imagined what God has prepared for those who love him. Isaiah 64:4”

Friends

How do you feel when someone arranges for you the surprise party on your birthday!
Surprise!

Jesus does the same for us.  He knows about the party.  Jesus is happiest when the lost are found.  For him, no moment is greater than the moment of salvation!

Circumcision of Jesus

Luke 2:21
And when eight days were completed for the circumcision of the Child, His name was called Jesus, the name given by the angel before He was conceived in the womb.
