We do have awesome and eternal God

"Stand up and praise the LORD your God, who is from everlasting to everlasting. Blessed be your glorious name, and may it be exalted above all blessing and praise." — Nehemiah 9:5

"Stand up and shout it if you love my Jesus..." That's a song our children love to sing! But what happens to that youthful exuberance and joy at worshiping the Lord? Scripture seems to show us that God doesn't want us to lose it. Read through the Bible and highlight all the physical acts used to reverence and praise our awesome and eternal God. In a world which regularly uses God's name in vain, isn't it time we stood up and praised him — not only in church (our private worship) and our daily devotionals (our personal worship), but also in our lives every day (our public worship)?!
It's a personal question. Today, how many of us are praising Him in front of other people.

Often times in Churches we observe that members hesitate to say ‘Halleluiah’ and ‘Praise the Lord’.  At the time of Praise and Worship moment, hardly we have seen raising hands in the Worship places.
Why, it’s happening? Are they afraid? Are they feel ashamed to praise Lord God? All these seems to be small but extremely serious in the presence and eyes of our Lord. It’s time for us to examine ourselves what stand we are taking in our lives. let’s pray and commit such brothers and sisters in our prayers constantly that Lord will touch and change them.

Some of the other Bible verses for this thoughts are:

1 Kings 8:15
Then he said:
  “Praise be to the Lord,  the God of Israel, who with his own hand has fulfilled what he promised with his own mouth to my father David. For he said,

Nehemiah 9:4
Standing on the stairs of the Levites  were Jeshua, Bani, Kadmiel, Shebaniah, Bunni, Sherebiah, Bani and Kenani. They cried out with loud voices to the Lord their God.

Nehemiah 9:6
You alone are the Lord.  You made the heavens,  even the highest heavens, and all their starry host,  the earth  and all that is on it, the seas  and all that is in them.  You give life to everything, and the multitudes of heaven  worship you.

Psalm 72:19
Praise be to his glorious name  forever;
 may the whole earth be filled with his glory.
 Amen and Amen.
