God Alone

Daniel replied, "No wise man, enchanter, magician or diviner can explain to the king the mystery he has asked about, but there is a God in heaven who reveals mysteries." — Daniel 2:27-28

What is the bedrock of your faith in uncertain times? Who knows where all the upheaval, tumult, and uncertainty are truly heading? In whom can you find the solution to your most perplexing problems?
For Daniel and his friends, there was one solid and true answer: the Lord God of Israel. It wasn't in the so-called wise teachers of the day. It wasn't in the religions of the East. It wasn't in the super-spiritualists. It was in God alone.

Comfort

Psalm 27:1
The Lord is my light  and my salvation —
 whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold  of my life—
of whom shall I be afraid?

Psalm 61:2
From the ends of the earth I call to you,
 I call as my heart grows faint;
lead me to the rock  that is higher than I.

1 Timothy 4:9-10
This is a trustworthy saying  that deserves full acceptance.   That is why we labor and strive, because we have put our hope in the living God,  who is the Savior of all people,  and especially of those who believe.

Isaiah 65:17
“See, I will create
new heavens and a new earth.
The former things will not be remembered,
nor will they come to mind.

Assurance

1 John 5:13
I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God  so that you may know that you have eternal life.
