Righteousness
Matthew 5:6
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for
they will be filled.
Matthew 5:20
For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that
of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the
kingdom of heaven.
John 16:10
In regard to righteousness, because I am going to the Father,
where you can see me no longer;
Robbers
Luke 10:30
In reply Jesus said: “A man was going down from Jerusalem to
Jericho, when he fell into the hands of robbers. They stripped him of his
clothes, beat him and went away, leaving him half dead.
John 10:1
“I tell you the truth, the man who does not enter the sheep
pen by the gate, but climbs in by some other way, is a thief and a robber.
Sabbath
Matthew 12:5-8
5 Or haven't you read in the Law that on the Sabbath the
priests in the temple desecrate the day and yet are innocent?
6 I tell you that one greater than the temple is here.
7 If you had known what these words mean, ‘I desire mercy,
not sacrifice,’ you would not have condemned the innocent.
8 For the Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath.”
