Jonah 2:8 says, "Those who worship worthless idols have abandoned their loyalty to you.."
Friends today most of us are going to be in churches, what is the pattern of our worship today?
When we say idols it does not mean that only different God's but even today many will be seating in churches physically but their mind is elsewhere, on the worldly things.
It's going to be worthless exercise if we go to church and do this exercise!
Therefore Bible says in John 4:24 "God is Spirit, and only by the power of his Spirit can people worship him as he really is."
Amen.
In Isaiah 31:1 we read:
"Those who go to Egypt for help are doomed! They are relying on Egypt's vast military strength - horses, chariots, and soldiers. But they do not rely ON THE LORD. "
unfortunately today we are all following the Egyptian people's pattern. Depending on our worldly wisdom, wealth, positions, finance and the list will go on but for on the LORD.
When we reach the end of battle, where we see the disaster only at that time we remember our mighty Lord.
Friends, it's not too late, even now we can take the correct position and save ourselves!
Bible Promises
John 14:1
"Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me."
John 14:27
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
Isaiah 26:3
You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.
