Expressions of Personality about Holy Spirit

1] He can feel – Ephesians 4:30

And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.

2] He can comfort – Acts 9:31

Then the churches throughout all Judea, Galilee, and Samaria had peace and were edified. And walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, they were multiplied.

3] He can think – Romans 8:6

For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace

4] He can speak – Acts 3:2

And a certain man lame from his mother's womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms from those who entered the temple;

5] He can pray – Romans 8:26

Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

6] He can teach – John 14:26

But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.

7] He can exercise His will – 1 Cor. 12:11

But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills.

8] He can forbid – Acts 16:6

Now when they had gone through Phrygia and the region of Galatia, they were forbidden by the Holy Spirit to preach the word in Asia.

9] He can work miracles – Acts 19:6

And when Paul had laid hands on them, the Holy Spirit came upon them, and they spoke with
tongues and prophesied.
