God leads us
“You cannot add any
time to your life by worrying about it.” Matthew 6:27
Anxiety is an expensive habit. Of course, it might be worth
the cost if it worked. But it doesn’t. Our frets are futile.
Worry has never brightened a day, solved a problem, or cured
a disease.
God leads us. God will do the right thing at the right time.
And what a difference that makes…

From the Bible
. I am also the Father who comforts you in all your troubles
2 Corinthians 1:3-4
3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort,
4 who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort
those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.
. When you are brokenhearted, I am close to you
Psalms 34:18
The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who
are crushed in spirit.
Evangelical Words
"Important as it is that we recognize God working in us,
I would yet warn against an over preoccupation with the thought. It is a sure
road to sterile passivity. God will not hold us responsible to understand the
mysteries of election, predestination and the divine sovereignty. The best and
safest way to deal with these truths is to raise our eyes to God and in deepest
reverence say, ‘Oh Lord Thou knowest.’ Those things belong to the deep and
mysterious Profound of God's omniscience. Prying into them may make
theologians, but it will never make saints." – A. W. Tozer
God's comfort and Encouragement
He has held me when I have had no more strength and have
wondered how I would ever make it. He has held me when I have felt defeated by
all that I had to do. When I have run to my El Shaddai, I have never come away
wanting. He is my all-sufficient One. O Beloved, do you understand? Have you
experienced Him as your El Shaddai? If not, He is waiting - arms opened wide -
for you…Kay Arthur
You don't have to be alone in your hurt! Comfort is yours.
Joy is an option. And it's all been made possible by your Savior. He went
without comfort so you might have it. He postponed joy so you might share in
it. He willingly chose isolation so you might never be alone in your hurt and
sorrow…Joni Eareckson Tada
