Acts 4:13
When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that
they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished and they took note
that these men had been with Jesus.
Acts 4:20
For we cannot help speaking about what we have seen and
heard.”
Romans 9:1
I speak the truth in Christ—I am not lying, my conscience
confirms it in the Holy Spirit—
1 Timothy 1:11-12
11 that conforms to the glorious gospel of the blessed God,
which he entrusted to me.
12 I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has given me strength,
that he considered me faithful, appointing me to his service.
Ministry of Eternal
Things
Romans 2:7-16
To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor
and immortality, he will give eternal life.
8 But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth
and follow evil, there will be wrath and anger.
9 There will be trouble and distress for every human being
who does evil: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile;
10 but glory, honor and peace for everyone who does good:
first for the Jew, then for the Gentile.
11 For God does not show favoritism.
12 All who sin apart from the law will also perish apart from
the law, and all who sin under the law will be judged by the law.
13 For it is not those who hear the law who are righteous in
God's sight, but it is those who obey the law who will be declared righteous.
14 (Indeed, when Gentiles, who do not have the law, do
by nature things required by the law, they are a law for themselves, even though
they do not have the law,
15 since they show that the requirements of the law are
written on their hearts, their consciences also bearing witness, and their
thoughts now accusing, now even defending them.)
16 This will take place on the day when God will judge men's
secrets through Jesus Christ, as my gospel declares.
Romans 8:17-25
17 Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and
co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may
also share in his glory.
18 I consider that our present sufferings are not worth
comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.
19 The creation waits in eager expectation for the sons of
God to be revealed.
20 For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its
own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope
21 that the creation itself will be liberated from its
bondage to decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of God.
22 We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in
the pains of childbirth right up to the present time.
23 Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the first fruits
of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption as sons, the
redemption of our bodies.
24 For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is
no hope at all. Who hopes for what he already has?
25 But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it
patiently.
