Demanded of all men
Luke 13:1-5
1 Now there were some present at that time who told Jesus
about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mixed with their sacrifices.
2 Jesus answered, “Do you think that these Galileans were
worse sinners than all the other Galileans because they suffered this way?
3 I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all
perish.
4 Or those eighteen who died when the tower in Siloam fell on
them—do you think they were more guilty than all the others living in
Jerusalem?
5 I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all
perish.”
Luke 24:47
And repentance and forgiveness of sins will be preached in
his name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
Acts 10:35
But accepts men from every nation who fear him and do what is
right.
Acts 17:30
In the past God overlooked such ignorance, but now he
commands all people everywhere to repent.
By whom preached
Luke 24:48
You are witnesses of these things.
Acts 1:8
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you;
and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to
the ends of the earth.”
Matthew 28:19-20
19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing
them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.
And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Mark 15:15-20
15 Wanting to satisfy the crowd, Pilate released Barabbas to
them. He had Jesus flogged, and handed him over to be crucified.
16 The soldiers led Jesus away into the palace (that is, the
Praetorium) and called together the whole company of soldiers.
17 They put a purple robe on him, then twisted together a
crown of thorns and set it on him.
18 And they began to call out to him, “Hail, king of the
Jews!”
19 Again and again they struck him on the head with a staff
and spit on him. Falling on their knees, they paid homage to him.
20 And when they had mocked him, they took off the purple
robe and put his own clothes on him. Then they led him out to crucify him.
