The Word of the Lord
Genesis 15:14
But I will punish the nation they serve as slaves, and
afterward they will come out with great possessions.
Exodus 9:20
Those officials of Pharaoh who feared the word of the LORD hurried
to bring their slaves and their livestock inside.
The words of the Lord
Exodus 4:28
Then Moses told Aaron everything the LORD had sent him to
say, and also about all the miraculous signs he had commanded him to perform.
Exodus 24:3-4
3 When Moses went and told the people all the LORD's words
and laws, they responded with one voice, “Everything the LORD has said we will
do.”
4 Moses then wrote down everything the LORD had said. He got
up early the next morning and built an altar at the foot of the mountain and
set up twelve stone pillars representing the twelve tribes of Israel.
Psalms 12:6
And the words of the LORD are flawless, like silver refined
in a furnace of clay, purified seven times.
The Word of God
1 Samuel 9:27
As they were going down to the edge of the town, Samuel said
to Saul, “Tell the servant to go on ahead of us”—and the servant did so—“but
you stay here awhile, so that I may give you a message from God.”
Mark 7:13
Thus you nullify the word of God by your tradition that you
have handed down. And you do many things like that.”
Romans 10:17
Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the
message is heard through the word of Christ.
2 Corinthians 4:2
Rather, we have renounced secret and shameful ways; we do not
