Maintain perfect unity
Ephesians 4:1-8
1 As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life
worthy of the calling you have received.
2 Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with
one another in love.
3 Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through
the bond of peace.
4 There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to
one hope when you were called—
5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism;
6 one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all
and in all.
7 But to each one of us grace has been given as Christ
apportioned it.
8 This is why it says: “When he ascended on high, he led
captives in his train and gave gifts to men.”
Philippians 1:27
Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of
the gospel of Christ. Then, whether I come and see you or only hear about you
in my absence, I will know that you stand firm in one spirit, contending as one
man for the faith of the gospel
1 Peter 3:8
Finally, all of you, live in harmony with one
another; be sympathetic, love as brothers, be compassionate and humble.
Maintain sound doctrine and Christian living
Romans 16:17
I urge you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause
divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you
have learned. Keep away from them.
1 Corinthians 7:17
Nevertheless, each one should retain the place in life that
the Lord assigned to him and to which God has called him. This is the rule I
lay down in all the churches.
1 Corinthians 16:1-2
1 Now about the collection for God's people: Do what I told
the Galatian churches to do.
2 On the first day of every week, each one of you should set
aside a sum of money in keeping with his income, saving it up, so that when I
come no collections will have to be made.
1 Timothy 3:15
if I am delayed, you will know how people ought to conduct
themselves in God's household, which is the church of the living God, the
pillar and foundation of the truth.
